Majors co-coach James Boyd and Majors players will be visiting participating minor hockey teams throughout the year to lead fun and interactive practice sessions, while helping players and coaches improve their hockey skills. The program was created to provide an extensive mentoring program that would assist with the physical development of young, hockey athletes in the community.
This year, the Tim Hortons Future Majors program will be open to Tyke to Novice categories. As part of the program this season, each team participating in the program will also be given 50 FREE tickets to a Majors regular season home game during 2009-10, courtesy of Tim Hortons.
