With another summer come and gone, another year begins. Our boys are back in town, as the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors annual training camp begins this Thursday morning with physicals and testing, and wraps up Sunday evening.

For members of the public interested in catching our prospects and returning players in action, please note that ONLY scrimmage sessions are open to public and media. They take place at Community Rink #2 at the Hershey Centre. Use Gate Entrance #5 to enter.  (No scrimmages on Sunday)

Day 4 (Sunday August 30)

There were no public scrimmages today, as the team took part in a regular practice session in the morning.   Thanks to family, friends and fans who came out to support the guys throughout camp!

Don't forget... Majors jumpstart pre-season on Monday night (August 31) versus the Attack in Owen Sound at 7 p.m.  The team returns home on Thursday evening (September 3) at 7 p.m. at Milton Memorial Arena (605 Santa Maria Blvd., Milton ON).

Day 3 (Saturday August 29)

 

There is only one more day of training to go, and here's some insight from Assistant Coach, James Boyd, about the camp so far:

 

"Overall we are happy with the fitness level and enthusiasm shown by both prospects and returning players.  We must maintain the high pace and level of execution day after day if we want to compete against the elite teams in the league."


Scrimmage rosters remained the same.
